Optometry Navigation Services: early visual acuity test, assessment to review medical conditions that threaten the health of ones eyes. We offer reading glasses. Supports to navigate Optometry service or use Ministry benefits to obtain exams eye wear,
Dental Services: Referral to our allied Dental Partner Cumberland Dental for and treatments provided at no cost to clients who receive Income Assistance, Persons With Disability (PWD), and Persons With Multiple Barriers (PWMB). Individualized dental care treatment planning.
Denture program - Our Dental Partner may refer individuals for Dentures as part of their treatment plan to clients who receive Income Assistance, Persons With Disability (PWD), and Persons With Multiple Barriers (PWMB).
Counselling Services can be offered by Health Care and Social Development workers. We can facilitate referrals to community partners who offer public or private services or groups.
Audiology - Hearing testing available at no cost every second Friday of the month in front of St. George’s United Church from 11 to 12:30 PM. Assistance provided to access hearing aids deemed essential.
Occupational Therapy- We presently have 2 Occupational Therapists on our team providing 2—4 days of service as ride aboard members of our team.
Chiropractic Services- We can provide education about how to use MSP benefits to access this service.
Pharmacy Services -We can provide support you with health promotional teaching about medications you are prescribed by a primary care physician and we work closely with community Pharmacist to support people to increase awareness and access to services.
